All the products featured here are incorporated as part of the Combat Pitcher training program developed by Ron Wolforth. While his focus is pitching, we have found training with cones and hurdles helpful for all position players as well. - Richard Todd, WebBall

Use hurdles & cones to develop leg quickness and core agility

Baseball demands a lot from the body - whether you're pitching, fielding or hitting. Following the recommendations of top instructors, we've assembled a collection of some of the best "obstacle" training aids to help get the maximum in quickness, flexibility, core strength and agility - the four keys of the total athlete/player. By using these obstacles to focus your routines, you'll warm-up and condition with plyometric intensity.

Balance and feedback for hitters & pitchers

Proprioception is the term used to describe the feedback that tells an athlete if his movements are in balance. Amplifying the feedback challenges the stability mechanisms and hones performance.

Balance discs (top image) and beams (bottom image) are recommended to provide proprioceptor training.

Chris & Harvey are so well respected within the inner circle of baseball for their innovative program that they are the only non-college coaches invited to instruct at the respected TPX Top 96 clinics around the country. Among the pro coaches endorsing this training are manager Joe Maddon (formerly LA Angels, now Tampa Bay Rays) and Dave Hudgens (currently Indians hitting coordinator, formerly with Astros and A's.) WebBall obviously believes in the edge offered by vision training or we wouldn't feature the product. - Richard Todd, WebBall

You can't hit what you can't see

Vision Training takes you beyond mechanics of the game. It will improve the way you see, recognize, and react to fast moving objects. Doctors call it improving your Dynamic Visual Acuity, and it's the one element that's still missing most baseball training program - despite the proven success of this program with pro teams, at major colleges, and during player training camps from coast to coast.

Now, it's your turn.

Find out how this easy-to-use program of training tools and drills can improve your hitting and fielding performance.

"This is our first year using Crossover Symmetry and the results have been quite impressive. Our kids seem to bounce back better than before and they have maintained their velocity throughout the game and season. I think the program is beneficial because of its portability and the flexibility of the way it can be used. For instance, we use Crossover after a throwing session, whether it be a bullpen or a game. I felt that it was a great way to cool down and it was a way of starting the rehab process as soon as the young man finished work. On top of that you can do it at home or on the road, so what you get is a first-rate tool." - Derek Johnson, Pitching Coach, Vanderbilt University

Advanced Rotator Cuff & Scapular Strengthening System

Crossover Symmetry is the most advance approach to upper body rotator cuff and scapular strengthening we've seen. The CS system can be used for a dynamic warm up, rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement. Crossover Cords can be attached to either chain link fence and any door in your home or on the road - you can train indoors just about anywhere.

Currently in use by 10 MLB organizations and over 100 college baseball teams.

Each CS Indoor/Outdoor package includes either 2 or 3 pairs of Crossover Cords and attachments, plus interactive DVDs for standard and advanced programs, a full-color step-by-step illustrated workout chart, and a training booklet.

Healthy Arm, Healthy Mind

Discover your own personal process to realizing the art of performance.

Alan Jaeger is part pitching/conditioning instructor with an emphasis on the healthy arm. But he's also a spiritual mentor focused on teaching his students how to find the right focus and stay in the zone. He refers to it as 'finding your process'.

Certainly his own 'process' has met with great success. Among his pupils are a number of players who are now household names, including Barry Zito and Joel Zumaya. He also has a following among leading instructors and many more pitching coaches in both pro and college ranks.

The Jaeger Sports training program for pitchers includes his 'Thrive on Throwing' DVD, his 'Getting Focused, Staying Focused' book and his J-Bands.
