High Praise...

One of the factors which WebBall looks at when deciding which clinic organization to recommend, is the experience and satisfaction level of those who have attended the events. Organizers can say whatever they want; attendees - and their parents who are footing the bill - will speak the truth. This one caught our eye as sincere and insightful...

Bravo!

As I read through your website I thought ok, the college coaches will be working the camp.

Yes, I understood they would be paid to be there. I guess what I didn't grasp was that, no the coaches wouldn't be working the camp, organizing the drills, shuffling the boys from activity to activity, and making notes along the way, while trying to create an evaluation to hand to the boys later.

I was so astounded to see the coaches all 18 (I counted) of them, planted in their chairs watching, not talking, and honestly evaluating each boy one by one.  Giving them their complete undivided attention. This is something they might not even get at their own high school tryout.

Amazingly there was no down time for the boys as they waited for their opportunity to be evaluated. At the very start of the event everyone was organized and accountability was assigned, thanks to Mr. Rosen. Each boy was moving, doing drills, learning skills, participating in something every minute of the two days.

I was truly impressed with how smoothly everything ran, and the attention to detail. Every athlete was prepared, and warmed up, each boy had batting practice before the hitting evaluation, preformed grounder drills before infield evaluations, etc.

I remember thinking, if a boy didn't do well it couldn't be blamed on the camp, because, he was prepared for his evaluation during the course of the drills, the varies activities and the structure of the camp.

As for the evaluations, to have something to take home in writing was amazing.  This is an unbiased evaluation, with no hidden agenda. The scale is fair and the notes the coach makes are a great reference tool for future training.  Along with the evaluation comes something priceless, an opportunity to speak with a college coach one on one.  To get honest pointed comments on performance and expectations, personally directed to my son with an opportunity to ask questions.

It is hard to express how important that kind of interaction is to a young man, amidst the competitive environment that the baseball business has become.  So I am going to be looking for the TPX Top 96 to return to Arizona, next year. My son Steven is a junior and I feel that this camp is the best tool for him to find out where he stands among his peers as he competes for college opportunities in 2009. My son is so fortunate that a friend told us about TPX Top 96. Thank you, for your stellar program.
Sincerely,
