We can't say enough about Dr. John Bagonzi. Known everywhere as the Pitching Professor, Dr. Bagonzi is a coach, instructor, and the author of one of the most complete instructional guides to pitching ever published: The Act of Pitching. He is an absolutely brilliant technician when it comes to pitching instruction. His writings show pitchers how to generate more velocity and movement than you thought possible. John was in the Red Sox organization and his greatest claim to fame was his Uncle Charlie - the old-school nickname for a big, breaking curveball. (A lengthier bio appears in the pop-up profile on his articles.)
The Professor has given Webball permission to reprint a number of his most important essays. (He has also participated in one of our pitching challenges.)
