Infield Drill

New In-Motion animated QuickTime version now available for WebBall Team Players. Please sign in or join.

An essential drill for every defense, will get infielders crashing towards the plate and throwing on the fly. This works best when players are willing to push themselves to failure, overshooting the target and then learning how to adjust.

RED and BLACK lines are direction of ball throws or simulated hits.

BLUE lines are direction of player movement.

Set-Up

You can use a bunter (or bunters, as a part of B.P.) or get the catcher to roll them down the lines.

Each infield 'loop' requires three players in motion.
