Cold therapy of any kind is intended for relief of temporary pain due to muscle pulls, etc. during the game or strenuous practice. Always follow cold therapy with a brisk walk to restore body temp. If pain persists, consult a coach or instructor for advice on mechanics. If pain does not go away, you may want to consult a doctor or sports medicine specialist. Why WebBall recommends Rogers: Not all makes advertised as safety bases do the job. The release point depends on the size and weight of the players. Most magnetic systems just don't have the versions available for different age groups. The result are bases that break away too often - or the real danger - don't break away when they should.
