This infield drill will sharpen both the physical and mental skills of everyone who plays any in field position for the team. It comes to WebBall from Britt Boneau and is available on his "Organizing and Running Practices" DVD. RED lines are direction of hits. Set-Up What makes this drill unusual is the use of catchers in gear at 1st and 2nd base. This is done for two reasons - so catchers can work on their tag plays at the plate, but also so that there's no question who everyone else is throwing to... the shin guards and helmet make it obvious.
