Deception
Now we come to the toughest part of the process - how to make sense out of all the prior lessons on the theories of batter deception and turn them into a strategy for effective pitching. Come game time there are few, if any, two-pitch encounters between batter and battery. The previous lesson is an over-simplification of what really happens during the head game between the mound and the plate.
