Changing the nature of pitching instruction
WebBall and Ron Wolforth first became "co-conspirators" in changing the pitching paradigm back in 2002. That's when Ron was given a platform in our first Pitching Challenge. His ideas on pitcher training have been a part of our teaching approach ever since.  Now, with his top status in the 2011 WebBall Pitching Challenge, Ron is again at the forefront. This portal gathers his ideas past and present.Not everyone agrees with him, but it's hard to argue with success: Ron has had over 50 of his students drafted in the last 5 years. In one year he had the possibility of a record 8 students chosen in the MLB draft. While velocity is not everything about his program, for the record, at least 83 of his pitchers have topped 90 mph, 15 of whom have topped the 94 mph barrier (as of 2009).
