Each player, as he finishes his tubing sequence, should move right into arm circles, starting with shoulder shrugs both foward and backward, then extended arm circles.
As often happens, your team may have a limited number of tubing sets available. It's okay for some guys to work the 3 or 4 sets of available tubing while others do the arm circles fist - as long as everyone does both.
Note: The illustrations below show a hand holding one ball or two. Players under 11 should do the circles with empty hands. By age 12 or 13 have one baseball in each hand, by age 15 have two balls in each hand. Pros have been known to do arm circles with 3 balls.
(
The first few times in any season that this is done we recommend one less ball in each hand than suggested. In others words a 15 year old might start the season with one ball per hand and then move up to two. And no player should ever exceed what is comfortable for them.)
