Finally, somebody's got it right! We have tried other clicking bats - they aren't robust, they break, they stick, or they don't give you proper feedback in the right spot. The Swing Bat (also known as The Slide Bat) is the only one that really works. It's a brilliant design - the weight, the glide, the contact, everything is engineered just right. Trying it becomes one of those 'eureka' moments. Players love to swing it, coaches think it's a great training tool. Everyone who swings a bat will be helped by this. - Richard Todd, WebBall

Now you can hear it, see it, and feel it

The Slide Bat is our tagline for what the manufacturer calls The Swing Bat. Under either label the TSB is the one training bat every coach needs to have, and every player needs to experience. Nothing we have ever encountered is better for teaching swing timing. Through auditory, visual, and muscle feedback, it improves stroke, timing and hand-eye coordination.

Here's how it works: The ball rests on the handle. As you swing it slides along the barrel and stops at what should be your optimum contact point. If you've timed it right, you'll know...

First. the click happens when it should in a proper swing - for inside, outside and dead center pitches.

Second, there's a sliding ball - you can see the point where the pitch should hit your bat - visual reinforcement to the auditory experience.

3rd, the ball is hefty enough that you feel a weight transfer - you get muscle feedback as well.

stopper at the best instant for contact. All

QuickTime swing (no audio). As arrows show,
swing force drives the ball to the end of the bat.
The Slide Bat works for both checkpoint swings (stopping on contact) and follow-through swings. You can use it for top-hand, bottom-hand and two-hand drills. Plus you can combine dry swings and contact swings in your training using a whiffle, mini-whiffle or Lite-Flite ball.

In our experience, there is no better way to teach or reinforce optimum swing path and power on contact.

Barrel is durable, high-grade polished Aluminum Tubing 1" diameter with 1/8" thick inner wall. Grip is a comfortable non-slip contoured resilient rubber. The ball is official diameter.

28 inch models for baseball and softball weigh approx. 29 oz, 26" youth model weighs approx. 26 oz. Because ball starts near handle, initial swing resistance is reduced.
