Infield Drill

New In-Motion animated QuickTime version now available for WebBall Team Players. Please sign in or join.

Work fielding and feeds around 2nd base while keeping the infield corners in use as well.

RED lines are direction of ball throws or simulated hits.

BLACK lines are direction of player movement.

Set Up

The primary focus is to work Short and 2B around the bag fielding grounders, making the toss feed to the bag and also throwing across the mound to home plate.

With a second hitter outside the line at first, infielders at 3rd can work on fielding and cross-mound throws to 1st.

Have 2 fielders in each slot to keep the play moving.
