Resistance training for the on-deck circle
Working against air resistance builds swing strength, increases hand/bat speed and develops stronger wrists. Unlike batting doughnuts that upset your natural swing process and the weight distribution of the bat, swing mechanics are not altered with Power Fins. Simply slip the fins over the barrel of the bat. One size fits all baseball and softball bats (not included). This approach of increasing resistance the faster you swing ties in very well with the WebBall recommended approach to pyramid training. Note that the fins themselves do add 14 oz to the weight of the bat, although distributed along the barrel, not concentrated like a donut.
