A looping fly ball that drops safely beyond the infielders and in front of the outfielders. Also called a blooper or bloop single or duck snort |
| Throw a chair |
To throw a pitch that makes the batter return to the dugout and sit down - i.e. a strike-out. |

| Triple |

| Triple Crown |
One player who leads the league in batting average, home runs and runs batted in. Very rare at any level of play |

A single defensive sequence that records three outs - usually a combination of a line drive catch, a step on the closest bag, and a throw to first - not worth practice time. (TP) in scoring |
