Cold therapy of any kind is intended for relief of temporary pain due to muscle pulls, etc. during the game or strenuous practice. Always follow cold therapy with a brisk walk to restore body temp. Why WebBall recommends Rogers: Not all makes advertised as safety bases do the job. The release point depends on the size and weight of the players.
