Reptilian design and Kip Leather makes this a great glove. The AXX-105 was introduced in 2006 and continues to be a popular choice. With a 11.5" pattern, double X-web, open back, and medium pocket was designed for professional second basemen, shortstops, third basemen, and pitchers. 

The natural air pocket acts as a shock absorber for initial ball impact, stopping spin, making glove to hand transfer smoother and quicker. Kip leather originated in Europe with tanning in Japan. Akadema uses U.S. steerhide put through this process. The result: Kip leather is 20% lighter and tighter grained than conventional steerhide. As a result Precision gloves are more pliable, easier to break in, with more tensile strength.
