These stats are based solely on coaches' submissions to WebBall (combining numbers from regular season and all-star players and teams up to Aug. 2007).

* The closeness in Fastball Speed of the 'ball at the plate' vs 'out of hand' numbers is the result of different coaches/players providing different team results and also different measuring devices. The average drop from many authorities is considered to be 1 mph for every 7' to the plate.

**The jump in times is due to increase in base distance - some players at 13-14 go to full 90' basepaths, others are at 80' or 75' or less. This affects running and catcher pop times.
