They're to help you build the team you want, whether it's for a house league, a rep team, or for all-stars. These suggestions may help you set up and run a good try-out and draft.

Safety
Always important - more so in Tryouts - is player safety. It's early in the season so players are injury-prone, and you have more players than usual at a game. Consider the safety precautions you'd take for a tournament and apply these to your tryout sessions.
