Training for Transition

The end-season period begins the day after your final late-summer or fall game

Transition should go for a few weeks till you need to start building Off-Season strength in advance of Pre-Season Training for next year.
Objective...
Keep playing.

Foundation...
Change of pace.

Keep Playing:
You want to stay active after the baseball season ends, but you need a breather from the same old catch-throw-swing-sprint routine.

Change of Pace:
You're making a transition from peak performance (the play-offs) into an active rest period.

Look to alternative sports activities to keep yourself in shape and also help maintain your competitive edge.

Best choices are sports which complement your baseball skills, worst would be sports with large demands on other energy systems (i.e. endurance sports like soccer or marthons).
