 When kids first pick up a glove and cap and head to the ballfield, we want them to play anywhere and everywere. In fact, WebBall has a section for coaches called 'Grass Roots' which is all about that - the basics of each position, plus we offer other insights on how to move players around to give everyone equal experience in every spot on the field.But there comes a time, when some players (if not all) gravitate to preferred positions - either because it's what they like to do, or it's where - because of physicality and mental make-up - they will do best.
