QBaseball Diet

This may sound like a really stupid question, but I'd like to know if there is a certain "baseball" diet that is good for you. I have been wondering about it.

AMy take on life is that the only stupid question is the one not asked. This is a good question. Have a look at this page on Nutrition and others on energy systems. Just remember - carb loading before a game is good - if done early enough, and fibrous foods are to be avoid just prior to our during the game. Also post-game food is equally important as rest to the recovery process.

QLosing Weight

What is the easiest way to lose weight?

AExercise and change of diet. Also the timing of eating is important - 3 hours before strenuous exercise and within 1/2 hour of completion of the workout. On days when you are working out, the focus should be on carbs and protein (pastas, meats. On the days when you are not working out, the focus should be on fruits and dairy. (Note: focus does not mean excluding other food groups. Also a game is not necessarily a work out but a practice should be.) Remember: the ultimate goal is not to lose weight but to lose body fat and gain muscle mass.
