Guarding the line means being prepared to handle screaming line drives and hard grounders that turn quickly into doubles.

Throw to First
Even when you're playing in on the grass expecting the sacrifice bunt, it still requires perfect barehand execution. But if you make a good grab then can't put your body into the throw, be prepared to hustle back to your bag.

The squeeze play is on, and you have to move down the line as fast as the runner, then execute a perfect grab and release.
